Job Description:

Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

 

·         At least 7+ years of relevant experience.

·         Extensive experience in Release Management and knowledge in Build and deployment process.

·         Responsible to plan for software releases and tracking milestones.

·         Ensures for scope finalization of the release on time and maintains the agile dashboard for all projects.

·         Exposure in WebSphere & Database concepts.

·         Experience in J2EE, WCBD builds and deployments.

·         Should be an effective communicator with good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Monitors the QA, performance and security scan results for each release participate in IRB/CRB Reviews for change approvals.

·         Involve in release planning/discussions with Business and coordinate for any production issues.

·         Should be self-driven and take end-to-end ownership of responsibilities.

·         Identify Documentation opportunities and document SOPs/ Release Manuals / SCM Plan etc.,

·         Establish checklists to ensure consistency across releases.

·         Co-ordinate with various functions (Development, Testing, Environment Management, helpdesk etc) within the organization for successful releases.

·         Adhere to agreed timelines of deliverables.

·         Report/Escalate to supervisor as appropriate (Ex: Dev team contacting for support during non-deployment window).
